The Rainbow Library Project is an initiative that sends free LGBTQ+ affirming K-12 text sets to schools and libraries across Washington State!
The plan was to send text sets to 120 schools and libraries in Spring 2021, but we were able to provide books to all of our applicants, totaling 246 Rainbow Library Kits.
We are looking for donors and grant opportunities to fund this project and meet all of the requests in Washington State! We are asking for your help to support us and Washington schools, in small or large amounts. We hope to be able to fulfill all of the new requests we have received and we won’t be able to do it without you!

Has your school received a Rainbow Library Kit?
So far, we have sent out 581 sets of Rainbow Library books to schools across Washington!
We are currently centering Title I, rural, and Eastern Washington schools in our mission to provide LGBTQ+ resources to students throughout the state. If you know of a school that could use a Rainbow Library, let us know!
